Day 2:

- Breakfast at Mido (63 Temple Street, Yau Ma Tei)
- Visit Wong Tai Sin Temple
- Lunch at Lung Mu Lau Vegetarian (Long Men Lou, Wan lian garden, 60 fung tak road, diamond hill)
- Back to hotel to rest, dou to sleep, cook dinner
- Tsim Sha Tsui MTR: Visit Teddy bear kingdom, The Amazon, 12 Salisbury Road (next to new world center)
- Shop around Habour Front City, Tsim Sha Tsui MTR
- Big H&M
- Dinner at Sweet Dynasty
Day 3:
- Wakie wakie
- Breakfast
- Visit Ocean Garden, opened at 10am, Admiralty MTR, then take Ocean Park city bus
- Lunch at Ocean Garden
- Back to hotel to rest, dou to sleep, cook dinner
- Shop at city gate factory outlets, around tung chung mtr
- Dinner at Fukee (60 Sham Tseng Suen, Tsuen Wan MTR). Try the durian pancakes at lucky desserts
Day 4 (arrange for late check out with Langham)
- Wakie wakie

- Pack up to Disneyland hotel
- Visit Wohing preserved meat, shop 5 welland building, 368 Queen's road central Sheung wan
- Lunch at Maxim place (Central MTR, 2/F Low Block City hall, 7 Edinburgh place)
- Off to disney when dou wakes up!
- Dinner at Disneyland Hollywood
Day 5
- Breakfast at Disneyland

It's been a joyful and tearful two years... for you and for daddy and mummy.
730 days full of surprises.
You've always been full of surprises, right from the moment when you came into this world.
You surprised us with your little bat man face.
You surprised us when you stopped crying and listened attentively to our singing in the hospital.
You surprised us when you suddenly decided not to latch one day.
You surprised us when you suddenly decided that porridge was not your cup of tea.
You surprised us with the number of milk teats we have to change b4 you found the right one.
You surprised us with your athletic abilities.
You surprised us by springing a sentence onto us one day: Mummy, I draw the bus.
You surprised us when you said: Sorry, mummy... after i caned you for peeing on the sofa.
You surprised us when you took less than 2 weeks to adapt to a new school environment.
You surprised us when you took the school bus alone at 22 months.
You surprised us when you could do the puzzles independently.
You surprised us when you said you liked Mae Jie Jie (read: Vanessa Mae).
You surprised us when you took off your pants, walked to the toilet and climbed up onto the toilet bowl before you turned 2.
You surprised us when we saw how you took care of aunty julia's baby aidan.
You surprised us with how beautifully you've grown these 2 years.
I just want to tell you, doudou, that mummy and daddy love you for who you are.
I remember telling daddy the day when you were born that I only wanted you to be normal.
Yes, just nomal. no rashes, no indentations on your face, no neonatal lupus. just a normal kid.
So no stress when it comes to achievements, no stress when it comes to expectations and no stress when you go to school. And no matter what happens in life, no matter who or what you grow up to be, the door of our house will always be opened to you.
May the triple gem bless our doudou! Happy birthday, darling.

Dou dou celebrated her 2nd birthday in school on 26 november. We held the session earlier as dear daddy has to go for his reservist from 30 november to 4 dec, right smack on dou's birthday. The daddy and i sprung a surprise on our darling at about 1030am with cupcakes and lots of little presents for her dear friends.
These are some photos of Doudou's friends and dou waiting eagerly at the cupcakes. We brought 2 more boxes but the teachers decided it was sufficient putting just one box on the table to entice the kiddos least some eager hands wipe off the cream accidentally...
We also prepared some pressies for the kids!
Teacher cherrie distributed the cupcakes for us. The kids got to choose their favourite character before teacher C cut the cupcakes into 4 parts to help the kids help themselves to the yummy goodies!
The kids (and dou of course) enjoyed the cupcakes! Max (the doggie) came to join in the fun too!
We also got to see what doudou and her friends do everyday. No wonder she comes home all sweaty and dirty!
The kids have 1 hour of outdoor play everyday from about 11-ish to 12. When we were there, they were busy scooping water, playing with sand, while some were occupied scrubbing the equipment at the playground and others were watering plants. Come to think of it, everyone was busy...
And finally, a photo of dou's teachers. Gui Wen Lao Shi has gone back to Taiwan so she was not at the party but we managed to snap a shot of dou's new teacher, Teacher Cassie and dou's FAVOURITE Kai Di Lao Shi. (Dou calls her Di Shi for short)

It was our last class at julia gabriel. We completed 2 terms (aka 20 weeks) there. Dou likes the teachers at jg, especially the singing, guitar and the art&craft but we've decided to take a break as daddy and i feel that the lessons have some what reached saturation point. We may return next year for their speech and drama class when then beanie is more ready and eloquent. In the mean time, I guess it means more outdoors for dou on saturday mornings!
Well, it's not dou's graduation per se but since i'm quite free in the morning, i sneaked in and took a peak. Had to hide behind bushes and people so dou wouldn't see me. hehheh. Dou was a good student (well, at times). I saw her sitting STILL, watching the jiejies and gorgors performing and was amazed how she could line up and listen to the teacher. There were a few times she wandered off but returned to her class as soon as the teacher called her name. :D
And finally, the graduates!
I think dou has a certain character i can't put a finger to. It's all encapsulated in this photo.

We met Kong Chuan & Connie's twins - xi2 & qi2 at the zoo last saturday.
Our dou took a while to warm up to them, but the 3 girls seemed to be the best of friends once they were familiar with one another - holding hands, walking around together and sharing food. The twins have grown so much and are now so pretty and intelligent! Xi2 is sociable and has the big sister aura around her while Qi2 is so caring and pretty! Dou loved the jiejies because they shared their goodies of jelly beans and paus with her. haha so nice to see them! She still talks about them and we could hear her rattle : SHWEET (read: sweets) JIEJIE ZOO + a big wide smile.
String these words up together and you'll know what's on her mind. hehheh.
The one on your left is Qiqi while the one on your right is Xixi. And of course the one in the middle is dou!
